Abated projects don’t pay more in property taxes during the abatement, they pay Payments In Lieu of Taxes (“PILOTS”). Those PILOTS are divvied up with a minimum (per state law) of 10% allocated to SLPS. So, MOFO pays more in taxes to SLPS due to its abatement than it did before

This is an egregious misstatement of facts. Take for example a project in your former ward, MOFO at 3172 Morganford Rd. It received a 90% tax abatement with your support. The land paid $8,406 in real estate taxes in 2019 before it was built. In 2020, post-build, it paid

It’s confusing to me that the focus of protests is around Israel rather than the true occupier, Hamas. My perception is that Hamas prevents progressive growth, distribution of aid, and is responsible for Israel’s retaliation against its 10/7 terrorist action. What am I missing?
