It’s hard to write this, but his story deserves to be told. Two days ago, my brother Brendan passed away on his way to visit us in Ottawa. The biggest Sens and Eagles fan you’d ever meet. I’m a Leafs fan—but today, for you, Go Sens Go ❤️

I’m not that big of a football fan. He called me on the night the Eagles won. He was crying happy tears. Told me he loved me. He showed me all of his friends in his house celebrating. He was so stoked. That big smile. That right there is what life is all about.

B always had a smile on his face. When our Dad got really sick, he hugged me on the couch. “No matter what, everything is going to be good,” he said. “You don’t have to worry. I’m always going to take care of you.”. He made our family laugh in some really hard moments.
