You were my favourite hello, and my hardest goodbye. Two weeks shy of her 12th birthday, I had to say my final goodbyes to Nilla last week. I am broken and the world feels "wrong" without her beside me. I will miss her for the rest of my life.

Today I am proud of myself for: Maintaining my 100lb weight loss for the past 2 months while I took a break from the gym because of my break-up, and welcoming Piper into my life. I have not gained any weight back, despite definitely eating more "unhealthy" food. 💪💪

I'd be such an Autumn girlie if I didn't live in Canada. Here, Autumn is just the prelude to -40C weather, roads that turn into skating rinks, and parking lots that become free-for-alls when the lines disappear under the snow. We get Autumn for maybe a month and Winter for 6.
