@juriy.bsky.social - let’s give it a go. My X stream is over-politicized and over-hysterical no matter how hard I try to teach “the algorithm” what I actually like. So far Bluesky feels more relaxed…

This made my morning, my week and my month! Haven’t felt so much overwhelming happiness for long time. She fits right in. https://t.co/klMosQed4X

I’m not a runner, and I’m pretty slow. It took around 6 months to build endurance to the required level.

This one achievement I will post on X. Never thought I can actually keep running this long. Next is marathon, I guess.

Stumbled upon SyncThing which looks great so far (it syncs files between your devices sans-iCloud and other centralized services). Huge added bonus - it is Open Source. Has somebody tried it yet?

Adding to that: “competent jerk” in a leadership position is a f**ing disaster.

https://t.co/4y5397AnMf - good reading. Scientific prove that technical competency is not a replacement for “being nice”. Managing a “difficult rock stars” is a constant pain. These people are powerful, but working with them often makes their power impractical.

First time running in another country! London is indeed the heart of the Old World.

X added a setting for "we'll take your data to train grok" without any notice and just defaulted to "yes" for everyone. This is BAD.

These days is ten years since I stepped on the path of Solution Architect. My understanding who an SA is changed a few times, but now I love to do what I do.

Reading books of Uncle Bob not only for information, but for pleasure. It is like poetry but about software. “Clean Architecture” is one such book.

The higher one is in corporate hierarchy, the more they should act as an example of corporate values. This is integrity. Lack of integrity builds distrust that spreads. As Peter Drucker once wrote: “culture eats strategy for breakfast”. Every leader must remember that.

Now we have Node.js, Deno and Bun. Which one's the best these days?

I regret to inform the community that since my own house was destroyed by russians who invaded my country, Wasm3 has entered a minimal maintenance phase.

I can't listen to a webinar when speaker is speaking too slow. That's like Chinese water torture. If speaker starts to talk about AI it becomes like waterboarding.

It took me awhile to realize why Switzerland is between Cocos and Chile in this country list. @SixtCH you might want to fix it…

I find the wording “to pay attention” painfully accurate. Attention is a resource that is exchanged or wasted. I hope this tweet was worth your attention.

Time is not anymore the most scarce of resources. It is now attention. The fight for attention is fierce everywhere - on a workplace, outside, even within family. Success, however you define it, depends on your ability to get attention but also knowing when and whom to give it.

I guess playing games on “Hardcore” (if your character dies, it is game over) is something that brings more satisfying experience. Softcore is like playing poker for play money 🃏
