i'm from Angeles, Pampanga and yes, American troops may have been evicted here (though they still have an unsettling presence in Pampanga) but guess what? Koreans are flocking to the area for sex tourism!.

my 12 year old self had little to no conception of gender & sexuality and the only thing i had known was that acting feminine was all natural to me. i knew that staying in the field would ensue being in the spotlight while backwards + misogynistic ideas endured among queer elders.

in another life i would've made my life out of playing volleyball bc it's the gayest sport ever but one thing about me is that i quit volleyball the moment i stepped in high school. "amuyan" culture was so prevalent among gay men athletes and i never felt safe as a queer child.
