Really disheartening #2MinuteBeachClean - miles of strandline littered with polythene & plastic including lots of sanitary products, 13 bags full in 50 minutes - but at least the 6yr old enjoyed the beach clean bootcamp!

Today I had to say goodbye to the best girl - Pebble the bed-hogging, tennis ball-stealing, beach-clean buddy. I miss her desperately already 💔

Thanks to the awful weather I am finally getting around to framing some of my beach-cleaned treasures. Definitely loving the old fashioned rollers the most #plasticpollution #beachclean

Hello @LegoLostAtSea - we found this metal thing while beach cleaning a few years ago, would you or any of your lovely followers have any idea what it may be? Currently hanging on display with some of our favourite finds, I’ve always wondered what it’s from/for.

Made a good start removing it over the past 2 weekends with our trusty @MakitaUK grinder cutting it into fairly manageable chunks, but bloody hell it weighs a tonne to drag off the beach

This monstrosity is eroding out of the dunes in Pendine, looks like home-made floats from polystyrene wrapped in plastic, anyone ever seen stuff like it before? Size 8’s for perspective! Need to get a grinder to it to cut through the thick plastic holding it together @peediepuss

Was finding a distinct lack of ‘keepers’ on todays beach clean until I spotted some legs in the sand. Brushed him off & thanks to @LegoLostAtSea book Adrift I recognised him immediately. Now I have the full set of gorilla, lion & reindeer too.

Made this for a friend who wanted a map of Wales made out of beach cleaned plastic to take to family in New Zealand. Took hours but I’m pleased with the end result. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 .#beachplastic #handmade #Wales

I love it when people get words or sayings mixed up, like when my sturdy yet spatially unaware dog was described as a ‘bundling oof’ instead of a bumbling oaf. She’s been a bundling oof ever since as it just suits her so much better!

I was picking up cotton bud sticks on todays beach clean but also found another bunch of Lego daisies (with doodah) - 2 in 2 weeks - and 2 scuba tanks! 🥳@LegoLostAtSea

Ooh 😍 found a Lyon’s Maid ‘The Flash’ lolly stick on this mornings beach clean, it’s got DC 1978 on the back so he’s looking quite good for his age! @2minuteHQ

Hey @LegoLostAtSea I just found another Christmas light decoration, any idea what shape it may have been originally? Also been finding loads of these suncream lotion bottles on Pendine beach the past few weeks, look a few decades old - anyone else been finding them elsewhere?

Yesterday’s beach clean was definitely the gift that kept on giving - treasure included:. 6 pieces of Lego.A bottle w/vulcanite stopper stamped ‘War Grade’.40 Smartie lids.A message in a bottle identical to one we found 6 months ago, from the same person.A hippo, rhino & more!

This is what has been removed so far by us and other regular beach-goers, and there’s an organised beach clean on Sunday so while I’m sure we won’t be able to get it all (especially as weather forecast is grim) it will certainly be a lot cleaner than it was!
