The FAFSA completion rate has bounced back to pre-pandemic levels!. It is up by 17.5 percent, with Tennessee having 66.2 percent of the Class of 2025 completing the FAFSA.
After the 2024 FAFSA fiasco, @NCANetwork estimates that completion rates have returned to pre-pandemic levels. I hope someone is following what happened to that class. It works out to ~ 250,000 fewer kids who completed the FAFSA last year.

@educationweek Second: Authenticity builds connection. School leaders don’t need to have all the answers. Admitting your own limitations (especially around SEL) and leaning on your team’s strengths creates room for honest collaboration.

@educationweek First: Empathy matters. Teachers notice when leaders take their challenges seriously. Active listening, showing up fully, and validating staff concerns go a long way in building trust—and that trust creates space for meaningful support.
