On the medium/distal vessel trials, I agree with @JMoccoMD (link to NEJM editorial below), the elephant in the room being the overuse of stentrievers. Personally, I wouldn’t consider using a stentriever beyond proximal M2, and the reason why might be more intuitive for surgeons
