Every week in Irish Examiner's Weekend we review an Irish hotel. The Hotel Examiner assesses everything from style + service to comfort + cuisine. We visit the new, the historic, the landmarks and the country houses. And we'd love to hear where we should review next. Thoughts?

One of the most important books on #IrishFood and farming ever. Incredible span of history and research, edited by Máirtín Mac Con Iomaire and @Irish_Cookbooks. Also incredible value at €45. It’s the history of ourselves from bog butter to Swift to Myrtle Allen. Huge achievement
