It’s my absolute worst job: culling cookbooks because 2000 is my ceiling (literally). Some writers - who I love - have seven, eight, nine books. They’ll bring out another next year. I just can’t keep them all. But which three, say, to hold on to? 😩.

UPDATE I dug my heels in (nicely) - and just had an email from @Airbnb apologising for the cancellation and offering a very generous compensation voucher so I won’t be out of pocket when I book somewhere else. Thank you all for firming my resolve. ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Sooo… the owner of an @Airbnb I booked has told me it’s no longer available (on Christmas Day, thanks for that). Now she wants me to cancel the booking so she doesn’t pay a fee. But it’ll go on my history so I’ll look unreliable. No biggie, maybe. But what would you do?.
