I’ve not watched Sunshine for like 15 years but I remember loving it so Danny get that legacy sequel rolling now pls.

Bear in mind I still really liked Trainspotting and I’m sure on another day if the wind was blowing in a different direction it could have been a 4.5/5 star, but T2 is so so interesting and builds on it in a great way.

I have no idea if this is a hot take or not but after watching these as well as 28 Years Later the past couple of days, pretty confident in saying Danny Boyle is the king of legacy sequels

Feel like my love for movies has developed in a really nice way since I stopped giving a shit about looking like a dweeb to ‘film bros’ on letterboxd and just started dishing out more 5 stars when I feel like it. Just love movies and show them love if you want 🫡.
