I know this doesn't mean much coming from the PHP guy, but writing modern PHP is actually enjoyable. With the tooling we have in 2025, it gets harder and harder to write bad PHP code. Plus, I'm not gonna lie. I think I found the perfect collection of tools. New video out.

Here's an underrated (and maybe unknown?!) feature of @laravelphp's `redirect()` helper function. Not only can you:.⏩︎ Redirect to the intended page after auth.⏮️ Redirect to the previous url. But you can also:.💾 Save the path you want to redirect() to in the session

Easy decision. I bought TailwindUI App+Marketing bundle back in 2020 when I was unemployed. Was one of the best returns on my development career. Excited and bullish for the future of Tailwind.

Laravel Nightwatch now has a 50% increase in allotted events across all plans (even the free one). But you can dial in almost every single event that gets sent to Nightwatch or how much of each event gets sent with sampling. So I made a video talking through it all.
