The Valkyries backcourt sustains another major injury. Carla Leite injured her ankle in the third quarter, and is now ruled out for the rest of the game. | @nathancanilao.

Valkyries announce Tiffany Hayes has sustained a left knee injury and will not return to tonight's game. Will undergo further evaluation | @nathancanilao.

Tiffany Hayes is down on the ground and in visible pain after she collides with Copper in the air. Hayes was bent back awkwardly.

A really nice play design by Nakase on that last play before timeout. Hayes pitches the ball to Amihere, who fakes a dribble handoff. Amihere then has the ball at the free throw line with a full head of steam and gets to the rim. Shot misses, but those are good shots.

The halfcourt offense has been stagnant, so it's nice to see the Valkyries getting out in transition. A couple of fastbreak baskets helping keep Golden State in the game. Leite has been active early.

Hayes and Rupert are back for the #Valkyries, but Golden State has gone almost five minutes without scoring. Valkyries have taken only ONE shot inside the paint.

This could’ve been their starting lineup. Just brutal injury luck down the stretch for a team fighting for playoff positioning.
