For me personally, this project has been a chance to step outside my comfort zone. After more than a decade drawing superheroes and caped icons, I wanted to push myself artistically to create something different, unexpected and new.

We didn’t set out to follow trends and avoided creating something to please a crowd. Instead, we focused on what excites us as creators and hope that passion can connect with an audience in a more meaningful and organic way.

At its core, it’s a love letter to the things we loved growing up: 80’s and 90’s cartoons, anime, videogames, and music, all blended together into a universe of our own making.

Here's the quick making-of from my latest commission: Deadpool 💥 done color pencils, markers, airbrush and acrylic. Had to up my skills on airbrush on this one but feeling more confident than ever. Glad it all came together in the end!
