the array of LLM options is a problem but providers need a way to signal "yo this is model is new", creating a UX dilemma. each model feels different, so one solution is to double down on idiosyncrasies/aesthetics: new models get their own colors, font, and voice.

I'm long hotels, which obviously are vulnerable to this same problem but a) can absorb more of the bottom quintile cost due to scale and b) can self-select for higher quality customers via more levers like pricing, brand, and loyalty
