Absolutely this!. Tell me you were partial to building a den every now and then too @Capt_Fishpaste?. Usually had time to do that while the BBC B Micro was scrunching its way to loading up Kevin Toms’ Football Manager. Life used to be so much simpler back then. And better.
That was the life 😎. We’d grab our bikes and meet our mates somewhere, almost always with the designated ‘ball person’ (there was always one). We’d find a bit of grass, play footie. Other groups would find you, sometimes you’d knock on doors to make sure everyone was included.
