Absolutely terrible news for so many Ontario small business owners (gyms, restaurants, arts/recreation, personal services). Premier hints at more financial support - this must happen today. 2 weeks to flatten the curve has turned into 2 years.
#BREAKING - Ontario Is moving to a modified version of step 2 as hospitalizations rise. Schools will move to remote learning for the next two weeks. Restaurants to close for in person dining, gyms, movie theatres, museums, concert venues to close. Retail at 50% capacity.

It's never too late to do the right thing. I believe the province is ready to turn the page on this disaster, right some wrongs and pivot toward a much more sensible covid response. I hope my sense is correct. It's time to move forward.

The Blue Jays have so far this off-season given out the two biggest pitching contracts in franchise history (Berrios $131m/7 and Gausman $110m/5) after last winter giving George Springer ($150m/6) richest deal ever. New level of big-game hunting here.

Remember that the #BlueJays won more games this year than the team that won the World Series and already had a dynamic position-player core in place. They now have Gausman, Berrios, Manoah and Pearson under control thru at least 2026, plus Ryu thru 2023. Dangerous team.
