Zizek touches on something important here that made me understand why I enjoyed working as a dish washer. It's less dehumanizing to sell your body in wage labour than your very subjectivity - your mind, judgement and creativity.

there was a garbage bin blocking the bike lane at the scene where the cyclist died in the story’s cover image. probably just a coincidence though right.
