I’m extremely saddened to hear the devastating news this morning of the passing of Uriah Rennie. Uriah I got to know very well over the years of living in Sheffield, he was an absolute gentleman and a top class referee, my sincere condolences goes out to his family & friend 🙏🏻.

All @CPFC fans, if you’re sober😂 how are you feeling waking up today, I have to admit I felt quite emotional yesterday, it felt like closure for me on something we were 7min away from doing ourselves. Brilliant to see my old Boss Steve Coppell there as well. It was ment to be.🏆.

Sending my sincere condolences to Phil’s family, he was a top top guy whom I had the pleasure of knowing during my early years at Gresty Road. He had great humour and was extremely popular with all the players. RIP pal you will be missed🙏🏻.
Everybody at #CreweAlex is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Phil Blakemore. A lifelong Alex fan, Phil was Matchday Physio over a decade across the 80s and 90s, and a constant and valued presence at Gresty Road. Our thoughts are with Phil’s family and friends. ❤️

Now the dust has settled Gareth had 2 big decisions to make 1 in my opinion bigger that the other and that was to drop Kane and Foden for Watkins and Palmer and he wasn’t brave enough to do it, both when coming on made a huge difference to the dynamics of the team when in it,.
