During student Q&A, the question I enjoyed most was unrelated to medicine and instead prompted reply to get us back on topic, “Jordan 4 Sail but more importantly, trying my best in school afforded me opportunities to cop my grails.” 😂 So grateful to @SeqUHSD for the opportunity!

“Lifting as we climb.". Grateful to recently join @SeqUHSD’s 2024 Career Day! 🩺👨🏾⚕️. Alongside other panelists, I shared my academic/professional journey as a @Harvard alumni and current @StanfordMed student with ~900 10th and 12th graders, along with advice I wish I had in HS.

While healthcare only accounts for 10-20% of overall health for many people, factors like environment, diet, income and education contribute much more 📊. Grateful for the opportunity to work with @TheBACHAC on a rewarding event to directly combat SDOH🤝.
Stanford BMiM was grateful to recently support @TheBACHAC 2024 Men's Health Symposium, a community health fair providing FREE vital sign checks, blood screenings, cancer screenings, vaccinations, interactive trainings, research presentations and other support resources!🩺👨⚕️

As so often in life, good things take time: Grateful to now share video of my first large-scale speaking engagement with any pre-meds who might have a few minutes to spare: 🎥💫. #BeGreat #GODDID #medicine #healthcare #diversity #inspirationalleadership.
Anything’s possible with purpose 💫. Honored to recently share my journey in medicine with over 500 pre-meds at the 2024 Stanford Medicine SUMMA Conference! “If I could leave you all with one thing, it would be to NEVER forget where you come from, and no matter what, KEEP GOIN’!”
