It was a lovely event - well organised by all the Bookshop team, and a packed audience asking great questions and interacting with Katharine, Ruth and I 😊.So good that so many people want to come along to events like this! 😊.
Last night @UllapoolB held the first #EarthMind book event, following the inaugural #EarthMind field trip, organised by @NWHGeopark and led by @geotherapist and @johnmac201 .Over 40 people (some standing), listened to book readings, descriptions of the tour. 1/2

2000 sales 😮😮😮😮.Many congratulations to Author .@johnmac201.whose debut novel The Faultline today reached its 2,000th sale at @UllapoolB.This is the first time we've ever had a book reach such sales. John is pictured with holidaymaker Malgosia, who got the 2000th copy 👍

Two interesting holiday books! #SarahPerry one is a longer unfolding story mixing science & spirituality that’s the author’s hallmark. Set in Essex. The shorter one by #CatherineNewman is a moving & emotional read set in Cape Cod. Both books drew me in tighter as they went along.

Really great event and lovely to share a platform with Andy. Brilliant support from Katharine & Nick in the Bookshop. Terrific questions from folk & a thoughtful discussion with the audience. Also fab to see @_rossdavidson coming along specially 😊.

Remembered today to turn over the office calendar & bang! My 30 years ago memory engages with a moment in the exact spot where the photographer, @_rossdavidson is stood. It’s such a real memory of a day just like that - I can hear the sound & feel the air like it was yesterday!
