Our final sign this week is ‘toilet’, thank you to Steve for sharing. @north_bristol_nhs we have a fab OT who supports patients with sudden hearing loss. They have introduced the app ‘Hearing Helper’ on several wards which provides a live subtitle for patients. #DeafAwareness

Our next sign for Deaf Awareness Week is ‘drink’. @NorthBristolNHS we strive for access for all Deaf & Hard of Hearing patients. We’ve been auditing our hearing aid loops across the hospital. We welcome any feedback & encourage staff to check our LINK article for more info!

Our next sign for Deaf Awareness Week is ‘Interpreter’ signed by Jhalak. At @north_bristol_nhs we run several online Deaf Awareness Training sessions via our BSL provider @signsolutionsuk . Staff can sign up to the next one on 9th July 10-12 more on LINK

The Centre for Deaf & Hard of Hearing Bristol will be hosting stalls at @NorthBristolNHS to offer advice & support for those experiencing hearing loss. Stalls available:.Piano, Brunel building: 11am-3pm on 13 May, 10 June & 8 July.Cossham: 11 am-3pm on 20 May, 17 June & 15 July
