So far January 2021 is giving March 2020 a run for its money in terms of decades contained within it.

Ironically if this had happened Twitter would have suspended Trump a long time ago as they would have had legal liability for all the crazy things he said on the platform
It is now time for Congress to repeal Section 230 and put Big Tech on the same legal footing as every other company in America. Legal accountability.

This well written, well researched article about the playoff expansion. But notice what never came up? Academics and player compensation. What does come up? $$ for athletic departments and TV contracts, plus some old white dudes feeling left out.

Ooh now YouTube is going to make sure you have a letter in your permanent record... this is armed insurrection and @google is treating it like spitballs in 7th grade science class.
1. Due to the disturbing events that transpired yesterday, and given that the election results have now been certified, starting today *any* channels posting new videos with false claims in violation of our policies will now receive a strike.

I am a billionaire. Please love me. A wonderful take down by @NathanJRobinson of @curaffairs after he read many of their books. A long read that is worth the time. https://t.co/bDZeRblLww

Nathan Robinson, the co-creator of Current Affairs magazine, took a lot of his time and read many (and I mean many) books (ghost) authored by billionaires, from Michael Bloomberg to Richard Branson…

The impunity with which the president’s supporters were able to storm the Capitol startled and frustrated activists who protested police violence.

The NCAA does a better job making sure you drink out of a Powerade cup than capitol police did repelling these evil morons today.

Any ”news media” that are promoting armed insurrection need to have their controlling partners charged with terrorism. Any platforms that knowingly allow the insurrectionists to organize or encourage the rebellion need to have their boards and owners charged with terrorism

The incredible show of force that we saw in DC this summer... Where is it? That was nowhere near what we are seeing happen today as lawmakers in both chambers are in lockdown and unable to continue their duties while violent protestors storm the Capitol.

Armed with intent to intimidate and break into and disrupt government facilities? Stern talking to. Peaceful march through downtown urban areas? Tear gas, rubber bullets, mass arrests.

I would advocate splitting the supply. Part to the current recipients, part to geographically diverse community pharmacies that can get it out the as fast as possible. Every person vaccinated is a step closer to the economic reopening.

My annual letter: https://t.co/fonCKwOoDL This year I discuss China's institutional strengths as well as its growing repressiveness; technology as a means to avoid decadence & complacency; Proust; the party's main theory journal; biking in Beijing; a culinary ranking; and more.

Centralized campaigns of inspiration; Proust; rejecting complacency and decadence; the pandemic in Beijing; brown sauce; riding a bike; rejuvenation.

In today’s example of algorithmic bias world capitals of North America and Europe are flagged “easily guessed” as part of passwords and disallowed but those in Asia aren’t.

I still don't know why Democrats aren't winning the messaging battle on the $2K for individuals by calling it what it is. A $2K fully refundable tax credit.. aka a tax cut. Run ads saying Mitch doesn't want to cut your taxes while cutting them for large businesses.
