Our research suggests that overall, strategic messaging surrounding the #COVID19pandemic should concentrate on promoting cohesiveness by drawing separate individuals closer, such as highlighting more inter-group similarities.

Drawing social distance closer between oneself and others may motivate people to help others. As social distance decreases, people report stronger negative emotions & sympathy, as well as higher risk perception. Thus, support for #COVID19 aid response measures also increases.

It's official! I am delighted to share that I will be joining @RANDCorporation as an Assoc. Policy Researcher in August! My new role is everything & more: I will continue to conduct research in my area of expertise, working on ac/non-ac projects with scientists from all fields!.
