Google release a CLI for their genAI. There's a strong 90's vibe, a magical feeling of never leaving the terminal. You can feed it files. Sounds like could be useful for your ops/k8s/posix/cloud stuff. I really like it.

When you are an engineer the levels are different.1. Your robot cuts the grass for you.2. Your robots cut the grass and monitor your property with lidars.3. You don't have grass anymore, instead there is a fighting pit for your robots and you are streaming those fights online

Very good talk, though you have to be 90's kid to appreciate it. Conclusions however still apply.

My favorite allegro engineer Bartosz Gałek together with Radosław Panuszewski wrote an easy/fast article on best practices in gradle. Higly recommended

To be fair we know nothing about how the product is going. After all a "product manager" is supposed to manage the product to bring some value, so either the team handles that good enough, or nobody measures it, or top level micromanagement means we have a "Xi Jinping" situation.

Is it a proof that micromanagement makes no sense, or that middle management makes no sense? .Or is it just a signal that you need to let people do their work, and either you are helping them, or you are disturbing them?

You do not expect a bank trader to get out and tell you the system makes no sense for society. Much less so to hear a good long poem at his talk at an University. Yet, here we are.

There are some amazing technical achievements done in the retro scene in the last decade, but nothin has impressed me as much as this: Civ 2 on C64.
