There's a term for this: empathy. Perhaps the execs he's talking about lack it.
As a retired Amazon VP who experienced a 9082% increase in Amazon stock during my time, I am out of touch with many common life struggles. The SVPs and CEOs above me are often more so. Talking about wealth and it's impacts is a taboo subject most executives avoid. I'm going to

I always encourage people to have a bias towards action. The fear of failure or judgement keeps too many great ideas inside people's head. Even not-yet-ready action acts as an accelerant and will absolutely force your idea to take shape. https://t.co/Ek0svfAsU4

I asked @XiaoxiaoXu74316 to roast my landing page and she really nailed it with a bunch of improvements!
Proudly to share another design roast🥰. Reply below or DM me to get a free roast from me. ✨ Before: Lengthy hard-to-read hero text, lacking brand consistency 🎯 After: Gradient blue for a softer vibe, concise hero message, consistent branding, app preview + helpful FAQs.

This is why casinos have minimum and maximum betting limits. It prevents consecutive betting from being used successfully. Folks, the odds are always in the house's favor.
Guy is betting that the num generated, between 0-100, is above 50. Each time he loses he doubles his bet. It ends fast lmao.

Here is a Twitter-like site I created using Lattice (zero coding, just chatting). Now when you create an app on Lattice you get the option of starting with a polished app like this or starting from scratch. You can use it here:

Want to build an app? Can't code? I'm sending out another batch of invites to Lattice. Request an invite and ping me if you want to try it out and I'll make sure you're in that batch.

Offering free web development in exchange for product feedback. I'm building a web app to create...web apps and looking for real ideas. Tell me about your app idea and if it's a good fit - let's build it. You get to do what you want with the app, I get feedback. Win-win :).

No nextjs, no react, no docker, no kubernetes, no serverless. Didn’t even use jquery which I LOVE.
This was my fastest "idea to first user" project. 10 days. https://t.co/zbyCULcyeG Hoping to go from "idea to first dollar" in 30 days.

Not true for long. I haven’t coded for 10 years and prototyped an idea including many concepts I had no experience with using ChatGPT + Jupyter notebook. I can take it to production b/cI previously launched software products for 20+ years. The gap is narrowing very quickly.

If more developers ran Linux on their desktop, maybe they wouldn't be so petrified of running a server by themselves. We are unlearning the basics of the Internet at an alarming rate.

A $6/mo @digitalocean droplet will take you a lot further than you think.
If you're not doing over a million dollars in ARR for your SaaS app, you almost certainly don't need more than a single server. Chasing a 99.99% uptime in those early days by prematurely optimizing your resilience is a vast of effort that could have fueled features and bug fixes.

I write code periodically now. And ChatGPT has completely replaced Stack Overflow or Google when I have questions. If I did this full time I’d use it way more frequently.
I still meet programmers who are not using AI to code And I ask why And they say because it hallucinates and you can't trust it The last AI they tried is ChatGPT 3.5 Meanwhile they never heard of Claude

Gave @trywireshark a proper product website. https://t.co/6HpVJ5b93O I preach ghetto testing and this is how I've done it for a physical product that I've validated works as expected but haven't manufactured at any scale.

Here’s one of the ideas I’ve been chiseling away at. I created this video as an ad for Instagram.

Still using vim and imagemagick. Definitely could have done this faster using Photoshop - but Preview was crashing so I went straight to the terminal. for f in $(ls *.NEF) ; do convert ${f} -resize 1980x1980 -auto-orient jpegs/${f%.*}.jpeg; done

Invested ≈20 hours and $300 for a professional photographer on an idea I pitched to my wife. The goal is to establish her as the go-to expert in interior design for local high end historic homes as we launch a firm. Curious how it will turn out. Stay tuned :)

Rolled out automatically for all sites on the free plan. Paid plans are opt-in. That’s a great way to apply this patch.
Tens of millions of websites (4% of the web) uses Polyfill(.)io. Extremely concerning malware has been discovered impacting any site using Polyfill. Cloudflare is stepping in with a secure clone and a service to automatically replace Polyfill on pages.
