My paper "On Relativistic f-divergences" got accepted to #icml2020 ! 🥳 This means that 2 of the 3 papers I wrote alone before getting accepted to the Phd were published! The paper provides a strong theoretical foundation for Relativistic GANs:

@jm_alexia So you could have basically written up your thesis on the day you started. Impressive. Congrats!

@jm_alexia @thanhnguyentang Congrats! Expecting a blog on managing (sole-author) project/publications. It will help students/hobbyists working on something without a dedicated supervisor.

@Gracesarah__01 I wrote them before acceptance, they were published after entering the Phd. Sadly, entrance to PhD is very competitive, but I know many people with very few papers (1-2), no single-author and they still got in. I assume they had good gpa, dean's list, etc. I had none of that.

@jm_alexia 1 is impressive, 2 is crazy ! Good job. I wonder, how much time they took you to build them (research and writing).
