Expecting a blog on managing (sole-author) project/publications. It will help students/hobbyists working on something without a dedicated supervisor.

I wrote them before acceptance, they were published after entering the Phd. Sadly, entrance to PhD is very competitive, but I know many people with very few papers (1-2), no single-author and they still got in. I assume they had good gpa, dean's list, etc. I had none of that.
