We partnered with HumAngle to organize a 3-day training on conflict reporting for 10 journalists from 4th - 6th November 2025, with specific emphasis on 'the missing’.

Today started the International Conference for Families of the Missing which, with 3 hubs in #Maiduguri, #Mubi & #Damaturu, we hope to leverage to benefit families of the missing in #Nigeria in amplifying their voices & their right to know the fate of their missing loved ones.

After we drilled two new boreholes in Aburi camp, Yagana Bukar told us: “We now have clean water close to us. Our children are healthier and we have more time for family,” The boreholes ended long walks for unsafe water and gives hundreds of families safe, reliable water daily.

📍Nigeria | 10 years ago, Falmata fled Marte for Maiduguri with her family due to armed conflict. With little to survive on, starting over was tough. Thanks to seeds and farming tools received from the ICRC, she is now able to cultivate a thriving tomato farm.
