Thanks for reaching out @iamyourfarmer and for the reminder of how much I’m going to be missing football this Fall. First time in 10 years I won’t be spending my Fridays at the stadium. Hoping as many schools can have as “normal” of a season as possible!.
Local high school is cutting football attendance to each player gets 2 tickets. Was thinking well that’ll be good for the radio station. Which led me to remember @jimthejam won’t be calling the games. Glad that he moved up the ladder, but harvest won’t be the same on Fri nights.

Another huge honor for @gracepyle24 as she was named Top 5 All State/All Class by the Wichita Eagle!. Grace has now qualified for the McPherson HS Wall of Fame, joining mom (@kweend_7) and brothers Ben (@benpyle24) and Drew.

After nearly 3 full years in McPherson broadcasting for the Bullpups and Bulldogs, I will be leaving this week and moving back to Kansas City. It’s been a great ride for me in McPherson & I will always cherish these 3 years & the people I have met in this fantastic community!

More congratulations are in order for @LadyPupsBB on being named the 5A Girls Coach of the Year by Sports in Kansas. Like the article mentions, this team battled more adversity in a season than some teams experience in 5+ years. and went 22-1. Well deserved, Coach!.

When a team wins 22 games in a season and uses SEVEN different starting lineups, then you need some huge performances from role players. McPherson certainly got that this season from Emma Malm (Jr), Lauren Labertew (Soph), Ella Schmid (Soph) and Peyton Howard (Soph).

Kassidy Beam made 64 3s this season (41%) for the Bullpups, which is the 5th best season in program history. Beam trails only Taylor Robertson for 3s in a season at McPherson, as T-Rob had seasons of 65, 67, 85 and 105. That is some elite company for junior Kassidy Beam!

Grace Pyle scored 16 ppg & scored 10+ in 20 of the 23 games for McPherson this season. When you throw in her 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals per game, Pyle had one of the best all-around seasons in Bullpup history. Can’t wait to see what “GP” has in store as a senior!

The four McPherson seniors in the Class of 2020 combined to play in 295 career games and start 142 games. -Lakyn Schieferecke (484 pts).-Cassie Cooks (464 pts).-Emma Ruddle (412 pts).-Andrea Sweat (174 pts). 4 State Tournaments, 4 Final Fours, 2 Title Games, 1 State Title.

What a special year of basketball for the McPherson girls! . The Bullpups finished the season with a 22-1 record and were ranked No. 1 in 5A. Over the last 3 seasons this team is 66-5 and made 4 Final Fours. Not many broadcasters get to enjoy their job as much as I do!
