I'm engaging in outstanding discussions with leaders of change in health & care from across the globe at #Quality2024. A big theme is how relationships & relatedness are increasingly becoming the primary focus of change methodologies. Read this blog from @NENC_NHS on how a theory

If people are motivated towards the change in a change process, everything else becomes easier. All the time & effort we invest early in that change process, engaging people, listening & co-producing, pays off later in better, more sustainable change. Trying to short-cut

@WarwickBSchool A5 These 6 lessons have fundamentally shaped the conversation and our move towards adopting a recognisable quality management system for the way we work and continuously improve. Great set of insight and digestible learning that you can translate locally. #LeadingQI #QIHour

Q5. The tweet chat process has been an eyeopener. Must be one of the most effective and cost effective ways to get meaningful conversations about significant academic and policy findings. #QIhour #LeadingQI

@gvhawtin @WarwickBSchool It always does, it just takes time, one day you walk down a corridor, hear something you've said for ages and you think to yourself this must be the truman show cause it cant be real... #QIhour #LeadingQI

@WarwickBSchool A5 These sessions have been great for making me take a step back and look at things from a different perspective. Too often I get stuck in doing. Thanks for regular reminders to lift my head up. Broad range of thoughts from others also useful. Fab network. #LeadingQI #QIHour

A4. An improvement culture is a bit like a set of Russian dolls. If people are helped to learn how to lead improvement they will apply the approach to what matters where they work. Not every effort has to be of strategic importance.#QIhour #LeadingQI

@WarwickBSchool A4 A really interesting one as first and foremost all improvements matter to somebody other wise it wouldn't have been identified. The question is how do you make service, business unit, organisational improvement priorities resonate with everyone so it....#LeadingQI #QIHour

@WarwickBSchool Q4 The whole is greater than the sum of its parts - an organisation with staff empowered & supported to deliver improvements to own area as well as org-wide will achieve so much more. It all matters to someone. Size is not important, quality is. #LeadingQI #QIHour

@jimmy_parvin @WarwickBSchool 5 Bar gate, the best tool for measuring for improvement and the one tool where everyone looks at us as insane, we have dashboards and systems and yet a pen on paper is just as effective #QIhour #LeadingQI

@WarwickBSchool A3 – All of them! They are all general targets in a system that’s based around individual care, we need to think about how we use them as suite of indicators or information rather than individual targets. We have to use something though! #QIhour #LeadingQI

I am a big fan of sketchnote visuals. They help make knowledge and ideas more accessible and easy to remember. Our brains process visuals 60x faster than the written word. You can find all the sketchnotes from @HorizonsNHS on the same page. They have been viewed & downloaded
