Fans are scathingly critical if their own team fails to live up to expectations and yet a co-comm’s critiquing induces savage abuse. Hypocritical and immature double standards.
Post-match last night was the scariest I’ve ever experienced. Organised gangs set about mugging departing fans. We ran a gauntlet of thuggery on our way to the Metro. Not a police officer in sight. Witnessed so many ambush attacks on unsuspecting attendees. Reprehensible

trip to the Etihad June 17 to pair up with Peter, followed by the Merseyside derby June 21. It’s happening. ⚽️ 😁
Congratulations LFC. Congratulations to FA Chairman Greg Clarke who dismissed the self-serving null and void brigade. Further congratulations to
@premierleague
for project restart. Integrity assured.
Contrary to what some idiots will have you believe, I am not a bitter and twisted Everton hater. I’ve always enjoyed visits to Goodison as a player and broadcaster but recklessness that causes serious, long term injury should be retrospectively punishable.
This is amazing.
On the day Liverpool will lift the Premier League trophy, Reds legend Jim Beglin has penned a poem to Jurgen Klopp, Bill Shankly and the other iconic managers to have left their stamp on the club.

I don’t like to see players discarding their runners-up medals. It’s a great achievement to make it to the biggest club match in world football. I still cherish mine.
I’ve spoken to Peter. As most of you know, he stubbornly resists social media but he’s very, very grateful. He has asked me to pass on his sincere thanks to everyone who has been so kind and supportive. He knows he’s a lucky boy to do what he does for a living. Thank you.

I’m on a Twitter tour of Africa only. Sadly, I am not on your beautiful continent as some are suggesting. Please follow current guidelines and keep safe. Football isn’t important right now but it will be again sooner rather than later - we hope.
Sadly, Peter’s mum passed away peacefully on the Sunday before Christmas. Her funeral will take place Tuesday January 14. She wished for any donations to be made to ‘Save the Children’. Thank you all for your concern. RIP Margaret Drury.
If you are a football person please join the challenge of posting a football photo. Just one picture, no description. Please copy the text in your status, post a picture and look at some great memories/pictures. Missing football so very much!
Peter Drury is merely getting what he deserves. His preparation and instinctive delivery of that preparation has grown his popularity. I wish him the very best.
I’ve heard many away fans at Anfield singing ‘where’s your famous atmosphere’? Problem is that most of them support clubs that’ll never be here on nights like this. It’s electric.
