Really pleased with the work done to improve our away form and 3/3 this season is testament to that. If we can find the right formula at home then this team has a lot of potential.

Another player (apart from Diallo) with a good final ball would definitely improve the squad, but the lack of chances created so far this season is definitely more a system issue than a player quality issue imo.

🚨 As per @JPercyTelegraph, Marcelino Nunez is poised to join #ITFC in a deal worth £10m to #NCFC. £7.5m plus £2.5m in add-ons. This move has been pushed by Nunez and his representatives. Norwich feel it represents significant value for a player with less than 12 months left.

It’s definitely too early to pass final judgements on new players and the new Head Coach, but it is clear that there is more pressure than ever before for the team to not only look good but also to get results and if we don’t improve soon then that pressure will start to ramp up.

Last season it was clear that the squad wasn’t adequate relative to the expectations put on our results. That was supposed to have been fixed this summer along with bringing in a more “results-oriented” Head Coach. There’s no reason now why we shouldn’t be expecting top six.

If the squad really isn’t good enough then surely there have to be questions over where Knapper has decided to spend all of that money. Issues in terms of mobility in key positions arguably do leave the squad light, but really I’m not sure how that’s been allowed to happen.

I think we’ve put ourselves in a position where we have no choice but to back Manning in the market if we want his system to work but it doesn’t necessarily sit right when we’ve already spent so much. Surely any coach worth their salt should be able to get more out of this squad?.
