I've always felt that calculated "eligible voters" counts were a little too fuzzy, so here's what the REGISTERED voters did re voting for presidrent in 2024.

While I applaud the efforts of the reconstituted @23andMe company, they're not connecting the dots with early adopters who've been contributing to research surveys for years. If they "find" that I have a statistically high chance of some condition that I've already told them I

To all my fellow cats living in Dayton, here’s some stuff I’ve learned about elections in this town. Only 1 in 10 registered voters participated in our last “Hometown Election” for Mayor & City Commissioners in 2021. In a city with aprox 95,000 people eligible to vote, it only

Shame on @Aetna , who discontinued a low premium medicare Rx program for healthy seniors & replacement plan's premium is 700% higher! Also, if customers missed the memo about this, it's "too late" to opt out, so pts are stuck with that price gouge for full 12 months.

THIS is what democracy SHOULD look like: elected officials from different parties working together. 💕Thanks Rachel Baker & @AndreaWhite2020 for transcending partisanship to protect ALL OHIO NURSES! @ohionursesassoc

As a seasoned poll worker, I got to discuss the nuances in new Ohio voter ID requirements with Secretary of State, @FrankLaRose at @WarpedWing. He reminded everyone that poll workers are volunteers, who are also your neighbors, and urged- Pls be patient & kind to PWs on Nov 5! 🇺🇸

Know where your vote can really change things in your neighborhood or school district? It's in the races for mysterious jobs like Clerk of Courts. We need someone to accurately track and share what happens in our courts, and I think my friend Lynn Cooper will be great at it!

I was super-chuffed to attend an event in Cincinnati with some @ANANursingWorld -Ohio pals where we heard from the amazing, Dr. Amy Acton! She was enthused about @Vot_ER_org , so I gave her my badge & lanyard. If you want your own Vot-ER badge kit, visit https://t.co/bWp6rXXs0U

"The nursing shortage" is at least 50 years old now. Current ONA survey findings reinforce the obvious; 5 million RNs should be plenty, but ever fewer are willing to tolerate hospital and ECF working conditions.

There are 5 million Registered (ie eligible to practice) Nurses in the USA-more than ever. Also there's a chronic "shortage" of nurses willing to work in hospitals & nursing homes. Hospital Associations insist it's a supply prob. Do you believe them?

Whistle blowing has too long been an isolating and dangerous undertaking, yet the public largely relies on self-sacrificing individuals to reveal crucial information that ought not to have been secret in the first place. @wendellpotter and friends are working to change this.
