Tonight’s Brewers-Mets game is going to be another sellout. At latest look, there are only 4 sets of 2 seats paired together left for sale in the entire ballpark. That will be six of seven sellouts at home coming out of the all-star break.

The metrics don’t have a stat for the impacts of working multiple 3-2 counts in an inning with runners on and capping it off with a 12 pitch AB 2 rbi single. Those numbers try to summarize why the score is what it is. The ways the Crew try to win (wear you down) gets lost in #’s.

I don’t think the Bucks will put anything like that in jeopardy, and feel very confident AJ will be a Buck long term. But any sort of delay of a new contract I think would be attributed to that rather than negotiation troubles.

If the Bucks want cap space in the offseason, which is a long shot (but we’ve seen the lengths they went to this offseason to have some). Then it would require letting AJ hit free agency before bringing him back, exactly how we maneuvered with Bobby.
If you can get him at a good value then you do it lol the Cavs extended Sam Merrill for 4/38. Stop saying “yall overrate him”. GOOD TEAMS RETAIN THEIR GOOD PLAYERS.
