This is so crazy… (and cool)! Imagine their cloud cost if they hosted this in Azure and bought more processing power instead of optimising software and caching. Cannot help but feel that a lot of companies could benefit from this approach.

Idea for #Sitecore Experience Edge: Build a standard (multisite) redirect module, that publishes redirect rules to the CDN allowing content editors to define rules that do not need to go to a source server.
