The key insight of Sora is that people will want to watch infinite TV starring people they know and care about. Like kids playing with toy soldiers or dolls, we will want to act out fantasy scenarios of all varieties to endlessly entertain ourselves and one another.

treating depression by conceptualizing life as an RPG where you take control of an NPC and have to turn them into a main character

an ai product???? no no no no product why would release a product? if you show a product people will ask about benchmarks and it will never be enough frontier labs that were the 100X becomes the 2X saas dog but if you have no product you can say you building
SSI strategy of not releasing a product is probably a good one. The minute one releases a product, one will be dragged into so fierce competition with OAI, gemini, ... that the original goal will be forgotten. Maybe it would have been wiser for Anthropic to never release Claude

last time i put any effort into learning to code was 10 years ago exactly. it didn’t seem worth the trouble at the time, so i decided to wait for the SWEs to unlock Cheat Mode. and would you look at that, right on schedule.
