You can own an ultra fine tip marker, and you can own a fat tip marker. But owning a regular tip marker is illegal or heavily restricted. This isn't about markers. ;)
Honestly, we should stop referring to these weapons as βSBRsβ because, in reality, what we have is a βmedium-sized gunβ ban. It is better to explain it to normal people that way so they understand what is actually going on. You can own a gun that fits in your pocket. You can

Trains are *phenomenal* land movement... for goods. Seriously, the singular best, most efficient way to move large quantities of bulk goods. Which is *exactly* what we use them for in the US. *Real* easy to build warehouses along train tracks at both ends of the journey for
America has more tracks AND more trains today than ever before. We weren't "deprived of trains". We have enormous numbers of trains. Our locomotive fleet has grown by about 35% since 2000. In that year we had 20,000 locomotives. In 2024 we had 27,000 locomotives. Yes our

Jesse Jackson came to my small exurban Atlanta hometown on the fringes of Appalachia one time, in 1990. I was in elementary school then, and this man - Ralph Lowe - was my Principal. He had also been one of my dad's own HS teachers, and my dad made it a *point* - with his

As someone who has been active in a variety of non-religious pursuits and found *some* community in *some* of them yet grew up inside the SBC where at least superficial community was *always there*, this is a perspective with merit. The SBC was (and is) *FAR* from perfect. But
Religion actually does build community far better than secular beliefs can and atheists should be addressing this instead of denying or ignoring it.

I live in *Florida* - *the* US tornado capital. Michael has a lot of solid info here.
Since I live in the South and tornado season is on it's way I'm going to give this hot take again. The EF classification system of tornados is dumb and doesn't communicate what the public thinks it does, which only causes confusion. What the public thinks: It's a tornado

@discord Note: The above assumes, of course, that they should maintain age verification *at all*. I personally favor parents parenting and companies/ governments not censoring the Internet.

Excellent point I had not considered. @Discord needs to flip this policy: Verify your age or *NO* access.
I saw someone raise a very good point elsewhere. Think about this for a second. Adults who do not verify their age will be restricted to child and teen friendly servers. Let me repeat that. ADULTS who CHOOSE not to verify their ageβ¦will be locked into servers WITH CHILDREN.

"We play the next 24 minutes for the next 24 minutes, and we leave it all out on the field. We have the rest of our lives to be mediocre, but we have the opportunity to play like gods for the next half of football." RIP James Van Der Beek. Your public life will live on in legend

DOJ obtains 98.3% of all criminal convictions not through constitutionally prescribed public jury trials, but by inducing defendants to waive their right to a jury trial and *voluntarily* plead guilty instead. 98.3%. How plausible does it sound to you that ALL those guilty please

*Exactly* what I thought of when I saw that commercial. Amazing how 20 yrs ago, the "Dark Knight" did this *KNOWING IT WAS BAD* - and destroyed it the moment he caught his prey. Even here, we were actively told this is a bad thing and even he, the supposed "good" guy, was bad
