This doc will give you goose bumps right from the opening scene of the 1980 team sitting on the Lake Placid bench 45 years later. If Bill Guerin and Mike Sullivan are smart, watching this doc should be the homework assignment for each USA player flying to Milan Saturday.

Watched it . As I recall the game between the USA and the Soviets, we listened to on the radio, and watched it later on TV. College Hockey was a big deal in Minnesota for us at that time. We knew the players and Herbert Brooks was a legend. The other players names we soon learned

Just watched the new documentary on the 1980 USA hockey team, truly amazing. If you can go through it without getting a little choked up, you don’t know how important that game was. I remember grown-up in California watching every game wanting to be Jim Craig. @JimCraigUSA
