🧵 Founder story time. I graduated from high school in Canada with top marks. but I decided I didn't want to go to university. One of my best friend's dad called me a failure. I was devastated but stuck to my decision. Here's what I did instead. 👇👇👇.

I don’t know when it started but I get most of my news by listing to 4.3.minutes of @tbpn each day.

I have worked with Dr. Matt for over 2 years. In addition to supporting me through comms and co-founder dynamics he now teaches our leadership teams on how to have tough conversations @JazaEnergy. Highly recommend picking up his book.
There wasn't a single book I could send them. That's when I knew I had to write it. Again and again, early-stage teams would reach out, desperate for help. They needed someone who understood cofounder conflict. Someone who could get to the root causes. Someone who had real

This is good content . To build something durable I’ve always felt that differentiation sits nestled between quality and frequency (and the subsequent impressions or how a repeated form hits the brain). Packy pins the need for differentiation down to these 2025 times.
I started writing this essay around 830pm last night, sitting on the couch watching the Robinhood presentation. It flowed more easily than anything I've written in a while. Just hit send when it was done. A lot of people assume the world will just descend into slop. For every

Kudos to @sebmanchester for pulling it off. Engineering products true to design isn’t easy. Also shoutout to @PhnamBagley for the design. World class.

There is a lot of hype about the engineering talent coming out of @UWaterloo. Our CTO just went through hundreds of @WaterlooENG projects to try to understand what the cool kids are working on 👇👇👇.
A few weeks ago I put up the batt signal for cool projects coming out of @UWaterloo @WaterlooENG.When I graduated in 2012, our projects were so cracked that @daleng had to change the rules. Since then I’ve been building hardware products with some of the world's best engineers.

This is good. Doesn’t make up for a poor sleep but took me out of an exhausted headspace to feeling well and present.
New 20minute Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) Protocol is now available in all formats: video and/or audio for download - zero cost and no sign up to access: The science and application of NSDR to restore mental and physical vigor has been covered on the HLP.

The best coach in the business just dropped a set of resources for early stage founders. @amybue has been my go-to resource for all things mindset over the past year and I couldn’t endorse her more.
One of the first things I realized when I joined YC was that all founders were struggling with the stress, chaos, and uncertainty of starting a startup. Even YC's dinner speakers - the literal best founders in the world - often spoke about how years of burnout and stress.
