Reading this in mile end cafes, a few blocks away from Cohen’s old stomping grounds, really brings it to life.

Life update: I’ll be heading to Oxford as a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow from September 2025-2027! Thanks to many, many people for all the support along the way. Sad to leave McGill and Montreal. Life is nearly perfect here. But I’m looking forward to life in Oxford.

Thanks to many, many people for listening to me oscillate back and forth on the ideas in this paper over the years. (My uncertainties are still evident in various footnotes.) But for @MarxinHell, and his wonderful 2022 ideology seminar, this paper would not exist.
