The Republican speaker of the Texas House says that if @KenPaxtonTX wants to use taxpayer money to pay his whistleblower lawsuit settlement, he'll have to come before the House and explain why he should get it. Could be quite a hearing!.

Texas attorney general Ken Paxton reached a $3.3 million settlement with 4 former senior aides who accused him of corruption. “I have reached a settlement agreement to put this issue to rest. I have chosen this path to save taxpayer dollars," said Mr. Paxton in a statement.
