NIRVANA THE BAND THE SHOW THE MOVIE: Opens with one of the most jaw dropping stunts ever, continues that high energy for every minute. Matt Johnson is one of the most electrifying filmmakers working today. Can’t remember the last time I laughed that hard at the picture show.

"Netflix and chill" really summed it all up. Movies are not pieces of art to be engaged with. They're really not even entertainment anymore. They're noise to be put on in the background so your parents don't hear you getting popped.

MARTY SUPREME: Shit post in Oscar bait drag. It’s too focused on close ups of people yelling to do justice to any of its ideas. However, Daniel Lopatin’s score is so phenomenal that it almost makes price of admission worth it.

I’m not thrilled over a live action Look Back but this means we’ll probably get a live action Goodbye, Eri which would unfortunately be better than an animated adaptation
