Hitting drivers max speed is essential to transferring speed gains from training to actually hitting a golf ball. It can be a mental hurdle to overcome. You need to train your brain as well as your body for the faster speed.

This always made more sense to me. I’d like to see it brought back. I shouldn’t be able to try and control the lie I get with a drop. It should be random, just as it is with a golf shot.
Players had to drop over the shoulder from 1908-1983 to get a ball back in play 🤯

After a few weeks with my fitted, shorter driver, my dispersion has improved with no loss of distance. I highly recommend golfers who struggle with accuracy with their driver to get fit with a shorter driver.
