BREAKING: Idaho’s Bonner General Health, the only hospital in Sandpoint, announced today it will no longer provide obstetrical services to the city of more than 9,000 people, meaning patients will have to drive 46 miles to deliver babies moving forward.

Voters have recalled West Bonner County trustees Keith Rutledge and Susan Brown. With all five precincts reporting, in Zone 4 the vote was 745 votes in favor of the recall to 450 votes against. In Zone 2, there were 613 votes for the recall to 51 against it.
