It took only five days to build a lifelong friendship! We look forward to telling you all about our fellowship experience at the ICRS Congress in Boston!.

Finally, to JP-squared! Jade Perry and Jay Patel - we had an awesome time in New York, interacting scientifically and socially with so many wonderful people. We were able to explore the city as well: Central Park, tacos, Times Square, breweries, and the NYC museum!

Thank you to ICRS for organising this once in a lifetime opportunity. We will carry the lessons/connections we've made for years to come. Also, a heartfelt thank you to Ranjan Sachdev for his generous support of the fellowship and for joining us in so many insightful discussions!.

Jade Perry and I are extremely grateful to our “godfather,” Daniel Grande, for your mentorship, affability and kindness throughout the ICRS Sachdev fellowship. You have made this experience not only deeply impactful, but truly unforgettable.

To finish the day, Dan, Jade, and I went to a local farm and arboretum, checked out Dan’s amazing boat Nazare, and had an unforgettable dinner at the Sea Cliff Yacht Club! Perfect way to end our trip!.

At NYIT, we first saw a brand new building with state of the art imaging and research capabilities. Then we had a nice round of presentations with Michael Hadjiargyrou and his team!.

The fifth and final day of the ICRS Sachdev Fellowship! Our “godfather” and amazing host Daniel Grande first showed us the Feinstein Institute, where Dan’s lab, Jade Perry, and I presented recent findings! After a neat tour, we headed to NYIT.

ICRS Sachdev Day 4. Jade Perry and I visited HSS! We enjoyed excellent presentations by the fellows, a fun lab meeting with Scott Rodeo and his group, and an impressive tour of their facilities. Plus a delightful dinner with @sportsmedDrZ . Thanks for the fantastic day!

Day 3 of the Sachdev Fellowship brought Jade Perry and I to Mt. Sinai Icahn School of Medicine! An engaging day scientifically with many thoughtful discussions with faculty and trainees. Very grateful to @iatridislab and the rest of the department for hosting us!

On Day 2 of the ICRS Sachdev Translational Innovation Program in NYC, Jade Perry and I visited Columbia University, both the medical school and biomedical engineering departments! We were fortunate to share our work and learn from some of the world’s best cartilage researchers.
