You most likely would have had the key stolen in an elaborate phishing scam or straight up stolen from Mt. Gox.
“If I put $100 in Bitcoin in 2010 I’d have $2.8B now.”. No. If you bought $100 of Bitcoin in 2010 and watched it go to:. $1k → $100k → $1.7M. and did nothing. Then watched $1.7M go to $170k. and still did nothing. Then watched $170k go to $110M. and still did nothing. Then.

It was obvious we as a city and state would get to this point when I moved here 25 years ago (I ~always lived in IL) because of pensions. I just didn't think it would happen as soon as this. Thought it would happen after I retired.
Johnson saying city finances are at “a point of no return.” It’s like he finally realized the reality of the job he wanted. Economic growth would certainly help! Won’t happen with his admin in charge though. Also, disbanding the pension panel? LOL… That’s the key finance issue!!

When I was a management consultant, I overheard my mom telling a friend on the phone, "he works in the Sears Tower". I could have been a janitor in the Sears Tower! She had no idea what I actually did.
“I don’t know what Salesforce even does”. Well have you tried to go out and learn or did you just think such knowledge would somehow emerge spontaneously in your brain?.

This theory plays out in part of Neal Stephenson's "Fall; or, Dodge in Hell". I didn't like most of it, but that part of falling population made for fascinating reading.
Demographics in America will change so drastically over the next 10-20 years that real estate will see a massive and permanent correction/depression. I think the last cycle (of my lifetime) to make money is right now. We are in the trough.

The same is true with Chicago. But people stuck in their own frame of reference will forever say that Chicago is a "driving town" and that bike lanes are "wasted space".
I’m so confident that if you replicated the past 5 years of infrastructure of Paris or Montreal in Philadelphia, there would also be more bikes than cars here.

So, @AskPerplexity is doing exactly what we all expected from every AI crawl engine out there. Only difference is they got caught.
