I think Rossi will outplay the value of his contract and he gets some leverage going into his QO/UFA year. The Wild need scoring centers. Despite the low playoff TOI, I go into this fantasy season thinking Rossi can flirt with point-per-game.
Marco Rossi’s deal will carry a $5 million AAV. $4 million, $5 million, $6 million, so his QO heading into his unrestricted year will be $6 million.

Big week for Nazar with the big extension and invite to the USA Olympic camp. Slotted in as 2C for the Blackhawks. Potential high ceiling option in fantasy but the wingers are suspect and more of a keeper play than a redraft target.
Greetings from Milan…site of the NHL/NHLPA European media tour. Some news: hearing Chicago is closing in on an extension for Frank Nazar — a key building block of its rebuild. Going to be somewhere above $6M AAV; a couple of sources indicating it will be the largest contract.

Matthew Schaefer is a cornerstone on their blue line but there is plenty of competition for playing time with Boqvist and Bear. Lots of long-term fantasy value (read: keeper) but not so in redraft leagues for this coming season.

2025-26 NHL regular season begins Oct. 7 and ends April 16. By my estimation, 2025-26 fantasy season should be 24 weeks total with Olympic break Feb. 6-24. Only 2 days where all 32 will be in action: Sat, Oct. 11 and Tues, Oct. 28. (They need to do this on April 16).
