Obviously Waterman isn’t an option from this list anymore, but based on the fee he got (500K GAM + 100K conditional), I’d imagine the fee wouldn’t be exorbitant for the others. Waterman is likely the best of the lot, so if #TFCLive pulls this off, it should be close to that fee.

The interesting part of the Cifuentes deal is the loan option to buy. If they can keep him as a non-DP, that's a potentially huge deal; if not, it's a good stopgap tester (like with Dominguez and Ola). Overall, some rock-solid business to go from Flores to Cifuentes for #TFCLive.

If he REALLY wants to represent Canada… a certain MLS team has an aging starter and could be open to a young starting keeper. Definitely extremely unlikely, but I wouldn’t be opposed to him taking over for SJ with #TFCLive.

Al-Najma FC's previous transfer history includes 1 paid transfer in their history, where they paid 5.1 million Euros for Samir Caetano (Transfermarkt has him valued at 1.8 million), so who knows what a transfer fee to #TFCLive looks like for Deybi 😅.

With Deybi looking like he's leaving, it's entirely possible #TFCLive go into next season with 3 returning INTs on the roster (Monlouis/Gomis/Coello). With the rule where 3 INTs count as domestic players for Canadian teams, TFC could have 8 INT slots available to use this winter.

Player utilization has been an odd one for Fraser at times for #TFCLive. Tonight was a good example of that with Ola, we’ve seen it with Laryea (granted CB/CDM worked), and Theo at LWB. If you never try, you’ll never know, but there have been some head scratching experiments.

- SJ is such a good shot stopper. If he could play with the ball at his feet, I’m certain he would have 100% had an amazing career in Europe.

- Petretta doesn’t have the pace for a no winger formation. - Long/Rosted just exist when TFC have the ball. - Laryea hasn’t been involved in the attack enough this season, I think largely because he has to play defensively to cover for others’ lack of pace, which is an issue.

Half-time #TFCLive Thoughts:.- This team has to learn to start on time. - Ola just can’t seem to fit into a role with this team. He looks like he should be great, but he just can’t manage to put it together. - Kerr was excellent. - One of Osorio’s best 45s this season….

Until the backline significantly improves, #TFCLive is going to continue to leak goals.

Kind of surprised Theo isn’t starting. I wonder if this is more of a narrow formation with the option of going to one with wingers in the 2nd half for #TFCLive. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Vilsaint and Theo provide a spark off the bench for Kerr/Ola in the 2nd half.
