Bride of Frankenstein (1935) Dr Septimus Pretorius' incredible miniatures were created by placing actors in full-sized bell jars set against black velvet. The mermaid was Josephine McKim, a gold winning swimmer in the 1928 Olympic games. Hard to believe this is 90 years old.
