It was a pleasure to attend #MIW2024 in Monterey, USA! . Before, I had processed ROV video & identified bottlenose dolphins & measured colour of propagules off photographs. This is my 2nd workshop involving marine imagery. I look forward to using these techniques in the future!

I now have my SVOP (Small Vessel Operator's Proficiency) certification! . This means that I am now able to captain commercial boats up to 12 m, with a maximum of 12 passengers, in Canada!

I am excited & grateful to start my first day as a volunteer Invertebrates Assistant at the @RoyalBCMuseum!. I will be helping re-organize the Invertebrate Zoology collection, developing my skills in taxonomy and pursuing specific career goals & interests.

I am happy to begin new contract work with @DFO_Pacific, which will last from early Feb to late Mar! . My work will involve data extraction, calculations & preliminary advanced statistical analyses, which will contribute to management of the invasive green crab, Carcinus maenus.
